WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY

One family. One vineyard.
And one unforgettable bottle of Shiraz.

Brockenchack is more than a winery—it’s a legacy crafted from love, passion, and a vision to bring people together over exceptional wine. For our family, wine has always been about connection, and we’re proud to share that spirit in every bottle we produce.

WE REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY

The Brockenchack story: A legacy built on passion, perseverance (and really good wine)

Since acquiring our slice of winemaking paradise in 2007, owner, father, and grandfather Trev, along with his family, has lovingly nurtured vines with roots tracing all the way back to 1896. Inspired by Trev’s passion for Barossa Shiraz, Brockenchack began its journey with a vision to craft exceptional wines that capture the unique character of Eden Valley.

With a history as rich as ours, it’s hard to fit it all in one place.

Here’s a snapshot of our most memorable moments:

(2008–2010)
Where it all began
The inaugural 2008 vintage marked a turning point for us. A modest 37 dozen bottles of Jack Harrison Shiraz—named after one of Trev’s grandsons—set the tone for a legacy built on quality and family pride. With meticulous care, our Riesling vines dating back to 1896 were revived, while our Shiraz plantings expanded. By 2010, the vineyard grew with the acquisition of what we call the ‘Gunyah Block’, paving the way for the first releases of our popular Mackenzie William Riesling and Zip Line Shiraz.
(2008–2010)
(2011–2015)
Expanding our horizons
Amid ongoing weather challenges that forced lower yields, Brockenchack demonstrated resilience, continuing through the challenges to produce wines celebrated for their finesse and balance. This era at Brockenchack saw the introduction of our Tru-Su Rosé and Great Scott Sparkling Shiraz, which diversified our portfolio, and we continued to take out awards each year despite weather issues. By 2015, Brockenchack wines were making waves internationally, with exports to Germany, China, and Japan.
(2011–2015)
(2016–Now)
Growing, winning and sharing
The last few years here brought growth, innovation, and many more accolades for Brockenchack Wines. New varietals were introduced to our growing portfolio, showcasing our vineyard’s unique terroir. Our 2016 and 2018 Shiraz vintages gained particular acclaim, cementing Brockenchack’s reputation for producing elegant, age-worthy wines.

In 2017, the addition of our bespoke accommodation in the heart of our vineyard created a unique wine-lovers' retreat, drawing visitors from across the globe.

A historic milestone was reached with the inaugural crush in our state-of-the-art winery and our first bottling in our brand-new bottling plant.

Sustainability and innovation became two key focus areas during our growth period, with investments in solar energy, water conservation, and regenerative farming practices to ensure Brockenchack's future. Today, Brockenchack wines are available in over ten countries, with a loyal following of wine enthusiasts and collectors alike.
